PARRIS ISLAND: A Graphic Novel

“PARRIS ISLAND” the graphic novel, is an action/thriller/horror graphic novel in development about seven USMC recruits fighting for their lives during “Hurricane Frank” on evacuated Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island (South Carolina) after their drill instructor Gunnery Sergeant Conrad Beckert, goes insane and is hunting them down across the training facility. Currently in the conceptual stages of illustration by extraordinarily talented illustrator Tonatiuh Ocampo, and written by myself, Brian Harrison Mack, “PARRIS ISLAND” will be launching a Kickstarter campaign in 2013 to fund the endeavor.

SYNOPSIS:
Eric Mays, a U.S. Marine recruit, and six of his comrades are accidentally left behind on recently evacuated Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island during a full force hurricane. They must work together to fight for their lives after their drill instructor Gunnery Sergeant Beckert has gone insane and is hunting them down and killing them one by one.
